docRVU is a web-based clinical shift productivity tracking and procedure case logging platform designed for healthcare providers.
The application enables clinicians and healthcare providers to record completed procedural entries in real time during shifts, track Work Relative Value Unit (wRVU) pace against shift goals, log procedural case volumes across clinical modalities (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Procedures, X-Ray, etc.), and maintain confidential shift logs across workstation devices.

3. AMA CPT® End-User License Agreement (EULA)
Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) codes and descriptors (Short, Medium, Long, Consumer) included in docRVU are copyrighted by the American Medical Association.

1. Non-Exclusive License Grant: Indigo Plains Technologies LLC grants you (the authorized individual clinician or healthcare provider) a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable limited license to access and use CPT® solely for your internal, personal, and institutional clinical workload management, shift tracking, and procedural case logging within docRVU within the Territory. The provision of updated CPT content in docRVU is dependent on a continuing contractual relationship between Indigo Plains Technologies LLC and the AMA.
2. Restrictions on Use & Anti-Extraction Covenant: You agree that you shall not: (a) create derivative works (including translating), modify, adapt, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble CPT or any portion thereof; (b) download, scrape, export, extract in bulk, or make CPT publicly available outside the docRVU platform; (c) transfer, sell, lease, license, or otherwise make available the CPT content to any unauthorized party, including a subsidiary, affiliate, or other legal entity, for any purpose whatsoever except as expressly permitted in this Agreement.
3. U.S. Government End Users Notice: U.S. Government End Users. CPT is commercial technical data, which was developed exclusively at private expense by the American Medical Association (AMA), 330 North Wabash Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60611. This agreement does not grant the Federal Government a direct license to use CPT based on FAR 52.227-14 (Data Rights - General) and DFARS 252.227-7015 (Technical Data - Commercial Items).
4. Disclaimer of Warranties and Non-Practice of Medicine: You expressly acknowledge and agree that use of the CPT content is at your sole risk and the CPT content is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Fee schedules, relative value units, conversion factors, and related components are not assigned by the AMA, are not part of CPT, and the AMA is not recommending their use. The AMA does not directly or indirectly practice medicine or dispense medical services. The AMA assumes no liability for data contained or not contained herein. The CPT content does not replace the AMA's Current Procedural Terminology book or other appropriate coding authority. The coding information contained in the CPT content should be used only as a guide.
5. Third-Party Beneficiary & Audit Compliance: The AMA shall be named as a third-party beneficiary of this End User Agreement. You are required to keep records and submit reports including information necessary for the calculation of royalties payable to the AMA by Indigo Plains Technologies LLC. You expressly consent to the release of your name and such information to the AMA. You further agree to provide, without delay, additional information that the AMA (as a third-party beneficiary) may reasonably request, to verify the information. You must ensure that anyone with authorized access to docRVU will comply with the provisions of this End User Agreement.
6. Termination of License:
(a) By User Default: This End-User License Agreement terminates automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms, including failure to pay applicable subscription fees to docRVU. Upon such termination, your right to access docRVU and CPT content ceases immediately.
(b) By AMA Agreement Termination: Upon termination or expiration of the Agreement between Indigo Plains Technologies LLC and the AMA, Indigo Plains Technologies LLC shall notify you. You shall continue to have the right to use CPT content in docRVU for the remainder of the year of the then-current annual release (e.g., through the end of the applicable calendar year) ("End User Tail Period"). Your continued use of the CPT content during the End User Tail Period is subject to your continued compliance with all obligations under these terms. Upon expiration of the End User Tail Period, the sublicense granted under these terms shall automatically terminate.
4. CMS Work RVU (wRVU) Data Attribution
Work Relative Value Units (wRVUs) displayed within docRVU are sourced from the public domain Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Physician Fee Schedule (2026).
docRVU and Indigo Plains Technologies LLC are operated independently and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CMS.
5. Scope, Case Logging & Billing Non-Reliance Disclaimer
Scope Limitation: docRVU is designed exclusively as an administrative workflow, shift productivity tracker, and procedure case logging tool for healthcare providers. docRVU does not provide diagnostic advice, patient triage, or clinical decision support.
Case Logging Notice: Procedure logs and case counts recorded within docRVU are provided for personal workload tracking, educational self-assessment, and shift management. docRVU is an independent software tool and does not replace official institutional or specialty board certification case logging repositories unless explicitly integrated by your healthcare institution or training program.
"docRVU is an internal workload management tool. wRVU calculations are estimates for personal productivity tracking only and must not be used for official Medicare claims submission, clinical billing audits, or binding employment compensation disputes."
- docRVU is not an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, medical billing clearinghouse, or diagnostic medical device.
- Clinicians remain solely responsible for patient care, diagnostic interpretation, medical record accuracy, and proper coding compliance.
6. DMCA Safe Harbor & User IP Warranties
User Intellectual Property Warranty: Users warrant that all custom procedure names, custom descriptors, shift titles, and notes entered into docRVU do not infringe third-party intellectual property, copyrights, trademarks, or proprietary rights.

7. Limitation of Liability & "As-Is" Service Provision
"As-Is" Service Provision: docRVU is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Indigo Plains Technologies LLC expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted service, or 100% data preservation.
Limitation of Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Indigo Plains Technologies LLC’s total cumulative legal liability arising out of or related to docRVU shall be strictly capped at the greater of $100.00 USD or the total fees paid by the user to Indigo Plains Technologies LLC in the preceding twelve (12) months.
8. Data Security & Confidentiality
User shift records and procedure counters are secured using PostgreSQL Row Level Security (RLS) policies. Individual provider productivity metrics are confidential and isolated to authorized user accounts.
