docRVU is a web-based clinical shift productivity tracking and procedure case logging platform designed for healthcare providers.
The application enables clinicians and healthcare providers to record completed procedural entries in real time during shifts, track Work Relative Value Unit (wRVU) pace against shift goals, log procedural case volumes across clinical modalities (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Procedures, X-Ray, etc.), and maintain confidential shift logs across workstation devices.

Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) codes and descriptors (Short, Medium, Long, Consumer) included in docRVU are copyrighted by the American Medical Association.

1. Non-Exclusive License Grant: Indigo Plains Technologies LLC grants you (the authorized individual clinician or healthcare provider) a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access and use CPT® solely for your internal, personal, and institutional clinical workload management, shift tracking, and procedural case logging within docRVU.
2. Restrictions on Use & Anti-Extraction Covenant: You agree that you shall not: (a) create derivative works, modify, translate, adapt, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble CPT or any portion thereof; (b) download, scrape, export, or extract CPT data in bulk or make CPT available outside the docRVU platform; (c) make CPT available on a service bureau, timesharing, application service provider (ASP), or cloud data distribution basis; (d) sublicense, assign, sell, lease, or transfer CPT or your access rights to any third party; or (e) publish or display altered descriptors as official AMA terminology.
3. U.S. Government End Users Notice: CPT is commercial technical data and/or computer databases and/or commercial computer software and/or commercial computer software documentation, as applicable, which were developed exclusively at private expense by the American Medical Association, 330 North Wabash Avenue, Suite 39300, Chicago, Illinois 60611-5885. U.S. government rights to use, modify, reproduce, release, perform, display, or disclose these technical data and/or computer databases and/or computer software and/or computer software documentation are subject to the limited rights restrictions of DFARS 252.227-7015(b)(2) (Technical Data - Commercial Items) and/or subject to the restrictions of DFARS 227.7202-1(a) (Commercial Computer Software) and DFARS 227.7202-3(a) (Rights in Commercial Computer Software or Computer Software Documentation), as applicable for U.S. Department of Defense procurements, and the limited rights restrictions of FAR 52.227-14 (Rights in Data-General) and/or subject to the restricted rights provisions of FAR 52.227-19 (Commercial Computer Software-Restricted Rights), as applicable, and any applicable agency FAR Supplements, for non-Department of Defense Federal procurements.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Non-Practice of Medicine: Fee schedules, relative value units, conversion factors, and related components are not assigned by the AMA, are not part of CPT, and the AMA is not recommending their use. The AMA does not directly or indirectly practice medicine or dispense medical services. The AMA assumes no liability for data contained or not contained herein. CPT is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
5. Termination of License: This End-User License Agreement terminates automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, your right to access docRVU and CPT content ceases immediately.
4. CMS Work RVU (wRVU) Data Attribution
Work Relative Value Units (wRVUs) displayed within docRVU are sourced from the public domain Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Physician Fee Schedule (2026).
docRVU and Indigo Plains Technologies LLC are operated independently and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CMS.
5. Scope, Case Logging & Billing Non-Reliance Disclaimer
Scope Limitation: docRVU is designed exclusively as an administrative workflow, shift productivity tracker, and procedure case logging tool for healthcare providers. docRVU does not provide diagnostic advice, patient triage, or clinical decision support.
Case Logging Notice: Procedure logs and case counts recorded within docRVU are provided for personal workload tracking, educational self-assessment, and shift management. docRVU is an independent software tool and does not replace official institutional or specialty board certification case logging repositories unless explicitly integrated by your healthcare institution or training program.
"docRVU is an internal workload management tool. wRVU calculations are estimates for personal productivity tracking only and must not be used for official Medicare claims submission, clinical billing audits, or binding employment compensation disputes."
- docRVU is not an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, medical billing clearinghouse, or diagnostic medical device.
- Clinicians remain solely responsible for patient care, diagnostic interpretation, medical record accuracy, and proper coding compliance.
6. DMCA Safe Harbor & User IP Warranties
User Intellectual Property Warranty: Users warrant that all custom procedure names, custom descriptors, shift titles, and notes entered into docRVU do not infringe third-party intellectual property, copyrights, trademarks, or proprietary rights.
DMCA & IP Takedown Policy: Indigo Plains Technologies LLC respects intellectual property rights. If you believe any content on docRVU infringes your copyright or trademark, please send a written takedown notice to our Designated Agent:
7. Limitation of Liability & "As-Is" Service Provision
"As-Is" Service Provision: docRVU is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Indigo Plains Technologies LLC expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted service, or 100% data preservation.
Limitation of Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Indigo Plains Technologies LLC’s total cumulative legal liability arising out of or related to docRVU shall be strictly capped at the greater of $100.00 USD or the total fees paid by the user to Indigo Plains Technologies LLC in the preceding twelve (12) months.
8. Data Security & Confidentiality
User shift records and procedure counters are secured using PostgreSQL Row Level Security (RLS) policies. Individual provider productivity metrics are confidential and isolated to authorized user accounts.
